Namoi Sustainable Living Expo draws crowds
The Namoi Sustainble Living Expo was held on the weekend at Tamworth Tafe. The expo helped local residents learn all about how to reduce their carbon footprint, and save some money along the way.
Bamboo Direct were the sponsor of the event and we took our show trailer including a 2.5kw tracker system to display.
The show gathered approximately over 2,000 people through the gates over the two day event.
Since the show was centred around living more sustainably, we found that many people were genuiniely interested in finding out more information about our products.
Bamboo Direct ran two workshops each day, one on the sustainablity of bamboo and one on Ways to reduce your power consumption - Solar Hot Water and LED lighting.
These workshops drew approximately 10-20 people each session. It is great to see so many people interested in finding out more information about our sustainable products.
Bamboo Direct will definately consider sponsoring this event next year - Sustainable focused people are aiming to do their bit to help our environment!
